Hello! My name is George Chryssafis, paralegal with the law offices of Edward A Smith. I’ve been living in the Sacramento area since 1980 where I attended Jesuit High School. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Government and a Minor in Criminal Justice from the California State University, Sacramento.
Following my undergrad studies and staying true to my Greek heritage, I took over the family restaurant business which I ran for the better part of 20 years. It wasn’t until my son, Alexander, was born when I realized it was time to find a new calling. As a person who always stood up for those less fortunate or to offer a voice to those who couldn’t defend themselves, I wanted to instill this value into my son. This led me to pursue a Juris Doctorate degree. I am currently a third year student at Lincoln Law School in Sacramento with aspirations of becoming a member of the California State Bar in 2018.
In my offtime, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling! As a first generation son of Greek immigrants, I still have a huge family both in Greece and Australia. As such, my urge to travel and meet my family has taken me to many far flung corners of the globe! Someday, I hope to show my son those very same places!
